Paper Smooches new site here, is a new site with GREAT cling stamps and a freebie digi stamp.  I just love the look and design of these stamps (wishing and hoping for a digi line! :)).

Meet Blobby! and SFYTT February Challenge entry (my 1st!)

Blobby - isn't this the cutest little creature.  It just makes me {smile} each time I look at it.  So I decided to take Birthday Blobby and make a girl and boy card to add to my birthday card stash. 

Blobby and a whole bunch of other great digis are over at pink cat studio!  I will also enter this card into the SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY {SFYTT} February challenge - you can find more info here.

Froggy

Today I made 2 cards for my mom to send to one of her girlfriends (a true froggy fashionista!) and we just {love} how they turned out. 

My mom picked out the Froggy Fashionista (aka Red Hat Froggy) image from a new fav site pink cat studio! and the second froggy image is from another new fav - pollycraft.  I also just got in my new stash of ~gorgeous~ twine from the twinery :)....

Hope you enjoy as much as we know our frog lady will!

Sympathy

It's not always a pleasant event to have to send a sympathy card, but when you do, it's comforting to send a card made with love and care.  My stock of cards was almost down to nothing, so I made a few.

Both sentiments are from lizzie anne designs, which offers great cling stamps and a monthly kit!

It's beginning to feel a lot like Summer!

Yesterday was a perfect day here in South Texas - sunny, 76 degrees...and our friends and family in NY were socked in again with another snow storm :(

So I thought I would make a few cards to cheer them up and try to send some of our warm, sunny weather their way!

The girl within....

I live in a male dominated household.  I am the only female...so those of you that join me in this category - you know it's action movies, Speed Channel, tools, building something, taking something apart, dirt, grease (oh I could just keep going on). 

When I came across the Zoe collection at digistamp botique I had to get it because I have had some requests for little girl birthday cards and seeing I live in a male dominated house! :) I seem to gravitate towards the blues/greens, middle of the road images. 

So now I have these digi stamps, I am having so much "girl" fun with the pinks/purples...and coloring them.

Day Dreaming Princess

I just love this card...I found the image over at my new favorite digi stamp site digi stamp boutique.  I loved coloring this and I know the cutest little princess with a birthday coming up at the end of this month that this card will be going too! :)

Dream Big

When I came across this digi image at polly craft I knew instantly that I had to get it.  My husband is a die hard fisherman with his bff Bud..if the sun is out - they will be in the Gulf. 

Of course they have had their share of big catches - but usually it's the story about the one that got away.... :)



I will also enter this into the spotted chick 's Thats Krafty Challenge for the week.  The Spotted Chick is a blog I follow and she provides such inspiration!

A few more Valentine's Day cards

As the weekend is winding down, I am also finishing up the last of my Valentine's Day cards.  I only intended to make a few this year....(yeah right!)  I even convinced myself to clean up all the VDay paper, stamps, ribbons, etc and put them away - which I did this afternoon in hopes to start on some more bday and easter cards!  Well that lasted about 15 minutes as I ran across some great My Minds Eye papers I had left over from last year that I absolutely loved and that was it...I had to find an image to colore to go with it. 

I promise to finish my VDay cards by tomorrow.  Here are the ones I worked on this weekend - enjoy!
